Founders’ note

Hi, we’re two university students who also love shopping, and over the years, we’ve joined our fair share of blogshop sprees. We’ve seen friends organise BTO appliance group buys to split shipping costs, and watched our parents order durians through neighbourhood FB groups.

Yet for something so common, they weren’t nearly as easy to find. Many group buys are scattered across Telegram channels and WhatsApp groups, so unless you happened to be in the right chat, you might never know of their existence. Once you joined, keeping track of an order meant scrolling through past messages and waiting for the host to send an update.

At some point, we started to ask each other, why isn’t there a platform built for this? Singapore has group buys for almost everything, yet we couldn’t find a central place that brought them all together. So we decided to build one ourselves.

With Bundl, we didn’t want to change how group buys already work. Buyers still pay hosts directly, and we don’t hold payments or charge a platform fee. We simply wanted to make group buys easier to find and orders easier to track, while offering hosts a smoother way to manage payments and fulfilment.
